Bedford Running Festival and Charity Partner

Access Bedford are proud to be a Charity Partner at the Bedford Running Festival. 

Members of Access Bedford and the Deaf community can take part in both the running and the volunteering over the weekend. We have a dedicated water station where our volunteers can hand out drinks to the 1000’s of runners who take part.  Our Access Bedford tent is located in the charity village at the heart of all the action. We can cheer on the runners as they cross the finish line and celebrate in style, watch the subtitled film screenings throughout the day and enjoy the atmosphere of the food stalls and performers.

If you would like to be a Charity runner at the 2023 event please get in touch with us, you can choose to run the Twilight 10K or Bedford Half marathon and raise Money for access Bedford. As part of Team Access Bedford you will receive a ‘Team Access Bedford’ Technical T-Shirt and a race day goody bag, use the Access Bedford tent as base camp on the day, and we will support you every step of the way through training right up to the big day! In return we ask you to commit to raising a minimum of £200 for us, the money you raise goes towards providing community support and events for our Deaf and Hard of hearing community in and around Bedford.
